New And Improved ETF Screener: Sort ETFs By Performance

by on December 16, 2009

We’ve received a lot of great feedback from ETF users on our ETF Screener – it has clearly become the “go to” resource for countless ETF investors looking to narrow down the hundreds of U.S.-listed ETFs (we now have more than 900 in the database) to find one that will achieve their investment goals. We also received some feedback from users on desired changes for the screener, and most of these focused on the availability of performance data.

The ETFdb Screener has now been updated to include two performance fields – users can now screen for ETFs by either performance over the last 52 weeks or in the year-to-date period. This function allows users to eliminate ETFs that have generated losses over a certain period, or only focus on those that have surpassed a certain quantitative benchmark. To try out these new functions, try out the new and improved screener here.

As always, continue to send along your feedback, and we’ll do our best to keep added desired functions to ETFdb.com

Sincerely,

Michael JohnstonMichael Johnston
