ETF Spotlight: October 2011

This month, we take a closer look at a first-to-market China bond fund from Guggenheim, the Yuan Bond ETF (RMB). This fund seeks to offer unmatched exposure to the Chinese bond market through yuan-denominated debt issues that are eligible for investment by U.S. and other foreign investors.
Equity markets have been stuck in a volatile trading-range for much of September as investor confidence has slowly deteriorated amidst escalating levels of uncertainty surrounding the health of the global economic recovery. Investors at home have been digesting platefuls of worse-than-expected economic data, while overseas in the Euro zone tensions remain high as Greece flirts with default. Volatility has been rampant across all corners of the stock market and many investors have turned to fixed-income holdings in search for uncorrelated returns.
