Heard On The Street: October 2011
Product development is back to full-throttle as more than 30 new exchange-traded products have hit the street this month alone. A number of “first-to-market” instruments have launched, including a suite of targeted sector funds as well the first ever China bond ETFs. Issuers are also looking ahead and ramping up their proposals, with handfuls of first-to-market products still waiting to be released. Below, we give the highlights and lowlights of the last month, sorting through a flurry of activity in an industry that continues to grow by leaps and bounds:
