This ETN tracks the SPECTRUM Large Cap U.S. Sector Momentum Index, offering investors exposure to large cap stocks that are domiciled in the United States. The index also focuses on momentum, or the idea that stocks that have been performing well will continue to do so in the immediate time horizon, giving investors a way to gain exposure to this tactic. While this may sound appealing to many investors, the product is an ELEMENTS fund which means that it pretty much needs to be avoided at all costs. ELEMENTS have credit risk since they are ETNs and they generally have very low volume as well. This fund is no different and it has 20 day average volume of just 15 at time of writing. Thanks to this, the fund's high fees, and relatively opaque holdings, investors would be better served by investing in any number of other products in the space instead of this ETN.
