This ETF offers exposure to European real estate markets, excluding the other regions of the world in favor of assets in the following countries; UK, France, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, and several other smaller European nations. As such, IFEU has the potential to deliver broad-based access to an asset class that can deliver attractive current returns and significant appreciation for long term capital appreciation (along with meaningful volatility and risk). IFEU has a reasonable level of diversification with close to 90 holdings spread pretty evenly out across countries, although French and English combine to make up close to 60% of the total. IFEU may be appropriate for investors looking to compliment their American real estate holdings with similar exposure in Europe but it is unlikely to function as a one stop shop for some due to its exclusion of a great deal of other countries' assets. Nevertheless, thanks to its broad exposure and its relatively cheap expense ratio, IFEU could make for a solid choice for a number of investors who are in it for the long term. .
The adjacent table gives investors an individual Realtime Rating for IFEU on several different metrics, including liquidity, expenses, performance, volatility, dividend, concentration of holdings in addition to an overall rating.
