This ETF represents exposure to an index that measures the performance the energy industries of developed nations outside of the US, which are included in the S&P Broad Market Index. This fund allocates it assets to giant and large cap companies for the most part, as its index demands market caps of at least $100 million to be included, ensuring that investors' assets will remain relatively stable with big name oil firms like British Petroleum and Royal Dutch Shell. Investors should take note that the fund does have a heavy tilt towards two countries in particular: the UK, and Canada, who collectively account for over half of the entire ETF. IPW also offers an attractive yield that will help boost its returns. This fund may be a good option for investors who are looking to gain exposure to the oil industry outside of the US.
