Description: This index is designed to measure the performance of companies whose operations in the North American oil sands include oil exploration, production, refinement, marketing, storage, transportation, provision of equipment and/or provision of services ("Oil Sands Companies"). Eligible constituents for the Sustainable North American Oil Sands Index are Canadian or U.S.-listed stocks of companies that are investing in Canada’s oil sands. The number of constituents can range between 25 and 40 depending on the depth of the market. The constituents are equal weighted.
