GreenHaven Continuous Commodity Services was founded in 2006 as a privately-owned investment adviser for the buying and selling of commodity futures contracts. The firm has created one exchange-traded fund, the GreenHaven Continuous Commodity Index Fund, which tracks the performance of the Continuous Commodity Index, which was originally developed in 1957. The fund is distributed by ALPS Distributors, Inc.
