Vanguard Total Bond Market ETFs are funds that offer access to entire segments of the fixed-income sector. They can track short-, intermediate- or long-dated bonds as well as credit quality. Additionally, they can cover both international and domestic bonds. The funds will actually hold the bonds in their underlying indexes.
