New ETF Tool: Stock Exposure On Demand

by on July 29, 2010 | Updated July 19, 2011

ETF Database is pleased to announce the launch of the ETF Stock Exposure Tool, a free resource that allows investors to identify all U.S.-listed equity ETFs that maintain exposure to a particular U.S.-listed equity. Upon entering a ticker symbol into the search box, the resulting table will show all U.S.-listed equity ETFs that maintain material exposure to the selected stock. (Results exclude leveraged ETFs).

This new tool quickly and accurately identifies hundreds of stocks that are accessible through ETFs. Searching for GOOG, for instance, will display the equity ETFs that maintain material exposure to Google (FDN, RWG, etc.).

With well more than 700 U.S.-listed equity ETFs now available, investors have more options than ever before. This new tool is designed to make it easy for investors to quickly locate the ETF that is best suited for their investment objectives, or to narrow down the universe of options to the most appropriate funds.

The best part about the new Stock Exposure Tool: it’s 100% free, with no limitations on usage and absolutely no membership requirements. If this peaks your interest, you may also want to check out our new Country Exposure Tool, which we launched last week. We’re looking forward to rolling out even more ETF tools in coming weeks; sign up for our free ETF newsletter to get updates as we launch additional resources to make navigating the world of ETFs a little easier.

We’d love to hear your feedback, both on this new tool and on any resources you’d like to see us develop in the future. Be sure to check out our ETF screener if you haven’t already. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any comments or ideas. As always, thanks for continuing to visit ETF Database.
