Top Performing Levered/Inverse ETFs Last Week
These were last week’s top performing leveraged and inverse ETFs. Note that because of leverage, these kinds of funds can move quickly. Always do your homework.
Like its non-geared brethren, the stand out fund for last week focused on regional banks: the Direxion Daily Regional Banks Bull 3X Shares ETF (DPST ).
While this week saw a plethora of single country funds with high returns, its notable that the second best performer was a regional fund. The Direxion Daily Latin America 3x Bull Shares ETF’s (LBJ ) index covers 70% of the market capitalization of five countries: Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Peru, and Colombia. The allocation to Mexico seems to have played a major part in this week’s high returns, as LBJ’s performance was followed closely by the Direxion Daily MSCI Mexico Bull 3X Shares (MEXX).
