Natixis Investment Managers recently released its 2024 Global Survey of Financial Advisors. In it, advisors worldwide weighed in on what their clients were asking the most questions about.
It takes no stretch of the imagination to argue that uncertainty has been the dominant theme for the global economy lately. Juggling how inflation, interest rates, and elections may affect the markets, it can be difficult for investors to position their portfolios for success. This is doubly true for investors seeking to achieve long-term goals.
According to the survey, 72% of clients wonder if they would be protected from a downturn. Meanwhile, 67% ask what they need to do to stay ahead of inflation. 64% of clients also ask advisors if they are going to meet their goals.
“Advisors have questions of their own,” Natixis adds. “As they look at managing investments, they have to ask themselves not only which asset classes and which investment style will best fit their strategy, but more and more they are having to ask which investment vehicle.”
