BlackRock Earnings See ETFs Step Up
The massive company’s ETFs also stood out in Q4, helping lift the firm’s numbers in its successful earnings report. While the firm’s top ETFs continued to lead the way in flows by virtue of their sheer size, other strategies saw major spikes in inflows. Per FactSet data, a few funds in categories like fixed income, foreign equities, and value stocks saw Q4 flows contribute significantly to their YTD totals.
(GOVT ), the iShares U.S. Treasury Bond ETF, added $4.8 billion in net inflows for the quarter. That lifted the strategy out of outflows for the year into positive inflows. Other funds saw strong Q4 performances lift them significantly on the year. The iShares Russell 1000 Value ETF (IWD ) pulled in $3.5 billion in Q4, helping limit the fund’s losses to just $1.3 billion for the year.
Adding to that late surge in value ETFs, the iShares S&P 500 Value ETF (IVE ) saw the fifth-largest inflows among iShares ETFs in Q4 at $4.9 billion. That accounts for more than half of the fund’s year-end total of $8.7 billion. Together, iShares ETFs contributed significantly to BlackRock earnings and could be poised to play a big role in 2026, too, with that Q4 momentum.
