Inverse/Short Emerging Markets ETFs seek to provide the opposite daily or monthly return of emerging-market stock indexes. The funds may be broad in mandate or focused on a single nation. They use futures contracts to gain exposure and may be leveraged. The level of magnification is included in each fund’s description and is generally -1x, -2x or -3x .
