Founded in 2009, Emerging Global Advisors serves as advisor of Emerging Global Shares ETFs. The EGS family of ETFs track the performance of emerging markets indexes. Their first two ETFs, the EGS Emerging Markets Energy Fund and the EGS Emerging Markets Metals & Mining Fund launched in May 2009.
