GlobalShares: ETF Issuer Profile
Based in Boston, MA, GlobalShares launched its first ETF in December 2009. The Emerging Markets Fund launched by the company was the first to operate under a "Zero Cost, Zero Fee" arrangement. GlobalShares is an affiliate of Old Mutual plc, a London-based asset management firm with operations in 38 countries and more than $400 billion in assets under management.
