Ransom-Cooper Is Racking Up Awards
“I was awarded Investment News 40 Under 40, Young Advisor to Watch by Financial Magazine, and Melanin Money’s Financial Advisor of the year,” said Ransom-Cooper.
In its write-up, Investment News noted Ransom-Cooper specializes in empowering women with compensation to build wealth. In that article, she said, “What inspires me is making sure this is a place where we can continue to grow and have more women and people of color in this profession, where they can come to a firm with everything already built out for them in terms of back office and processes to grow.”
This year, Ransom-Cooper has her eyes on trying to grow her practice and reach 500 different households. Accordingly, she seeks to help her clients on their wealth-building journey.

Ransom-Cooper shared that she had a terrific time meeting with people and networking at the cabanas at Exchange. However, her favorite part of the conference came as a side effect of her own session: “After I hosted our session, in regards to re-imagining business models, I was able to brainstorm and help other advisors think about how they can grow and scale their practice too.”
