Tomorrow, May 8th, VettaFi will host the Income Investment Strategy Symposium. Income is top of mind for many investors, and VettaFi has assembled a host of income experts and thought leaders. “With the Fed still on hold, we know many advisors are searching for income through investment styles beyond traditional taxable fixed income,” said VettaFi Head of Research, Todd Rosenbluth. “We will hear from experts on municipal bonds, options-based income, preferred stock, and CLOs.”
Learn More About Your Options at the Income Investment Strategy Symposium
Options have been a big income driver in recent years, gaining popularity in no small part due to their broader success. Both REX Shares and Natixis will be lending their expertise, with REX Shares senior vice president Taylor Ranney on deck to unpack the world of options.
Gentle Investors Prefer Preferreds
Preferred securities share qualities of both stocks and bonds. Accordingly, as market uncertainty rises, many advisors are drawn to them. The symposium will feature Nuveen’s Head of Preferred Securities Sector Team, Doug Baker, as well as a thought leader from John Hancock. Investors will learn more about preferreds and how they can be deployed to improve portfolio results.
The Symposium Agenda
Set to kick off at 11 a.m. ET, the symposium will open with a discussion on what risks are being rewarded. It will then pivot to tax-aware strategies that are catered to helping investors keep more of what they make. The second half will start with a deep dive into covered calls. This will be followed by the aforementioned preferreds topic. CLOs will close out the symposium.
