In honor of the upcoming tenth anniversary of the Alerian MLP Index (AMZ), we are delighted to announce the Inaugural Ammy Awards. What exactly is an Ammy, you ask? An Ammy is an award which recognizes excellence in the MLP industry. Think of it as a cousin of the Emmys , the Espys, or the Oscars, but with fewer celebrities and athletes.
A total of 20 Ammys will be given out in eight categories. Some Ammys will be awarded on an objective measure (such as highest total return), while others involve a nominations and voting process, and that’s where we need your help! We ask for your assistance with nominations in the following categories:

We are also seeking nominations for the Hall of Fame Class of 2016. Inductees are recognized for outstanding long-term contribution to the MLP industry from the following eight positions, with no more than one inductee at a given position per year:

You are welcome to submit nominees in as many or as few categories as you would like, with as much or as little explanation for your nominations as you would like. Nominations are due by 3:00PM CST on Tuesday, December 1, 2015. Finalists will be announced on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 with voting to follow.
