Headquartered in London, ETF Securities is one of Europe's largest ETF providers and one of the first to expand its presence to the United States with the introduction of the ETFS Silver Trust (SLVR) to the NYSE Arca in August 2009. ETF Securities was founded in 2003 when it listed the world's first physical gold ETF.
