Fund Ownership ETFs can be evaluated across three metrics: Controlling Shareholder, Controlling Shareholder Concerns, and Cross Shareholdings. Controlling Shareholder is calculated as the percentage of a portfolio’s market value exposed to companies with a controlling shareholder. Controlling Shareholder Concerns is calculated as the percentage of a portfolio’s market value exposed to companies with ownership structure indicating special concerns for minority shareholders. Cross Shareholdings is calculated as the percentage of a portfolio’s market value exposed to companies involved in a series of cross shareholdings with other companies.
