Buy on the Dip Prospects: March 25 Edition

Sneha ShahMar 25, 2026
2026-03-25

Below is a look at ETFs that currently offer attractive buying opportunities.

The ETFs included in this list are rated as buy candidates for two reasons. First, each of these funds is deemed to be in an uptrend based on the fact that its 50-day moving average is above its 200-day moving average, which are popular indicators for gauging long-term and medium-term trends, respectively.

Second, each of these ETFs is also trading below its five-day moving average, thereby offering a near-term ‘buy on the dip’ opportunity, given the longer-term uptrend at hand. Note that this prospects list also features a liquidity screen by excluding ETFs with average trading volumes below the one million shares mark. As always, investors of all experience levels are advised to use stop-loss orders and practice disciplined profit-taking techniques.

  • 150 ETFs made it to the buy on the dip prospects list. The U.S. market experienced a downturn in March 2026, driven primarily by intensified geopolitical tensions from the U.S.-Iran conflict, which fanned inflationary fears and threatened oil supply.
  • South Korea funds like Direxion Daily MSCI South Korea Bull 3X Shares (KORU B-) and iShares MSCI South Korea ETF (EWY B) topped the buy on the dip list. South Korea’s stock market experienced a decline last month, driven by intense panic over escalating US-Iran conflict and a resulting global energy crisis. The KOSPI plunged in early March amid fears of disruptions to Middle Eastern oil supplies.
  • Several silver ETFs like Amplify Junior Silver Miners ETF (SILJ C+), Global X Silver Miners ETF (SIL B-), Aberdeen Standard Physical Silver Shares ETF (SIVR C+), and iShares Silver Trust (SLV C+) were buy on the dip contenders. Silver prices fell sharply in the USA last month due to a strengthening US dollar, rising bond yields, and hawkish signals from the Federal Reserve that pushed back against interest rate cuts. Surging oil prices raised inflation concerns, while geopolitical tensions led to investors cashing out, reducing demand for non-yielding assets. Similarly, gold ETFs like VanEck Vectors Junior Gold Miners ETF (GDXJ B+) and VanEck Vectors Gold Miners ETF (GDX B+) also featured on the list.
  • Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X Shares (SOXL B), VanEck Vectors Semiconductor ETF (SMH B), and Invesco PHLX Semiconductor ETF (SOXQ B+), ranked among the buy on the dip contenders’ list, as the US semiconductor sector fell, driven by intense volatility from the U.S.-Iran conflict, increasing geopolitical risks. Major sell-offs were triggered by heightened trade tensions following China’s investigations into US chip firms, coupled with concerns over potential stricter U.S. export restrictions for AI chips.
  • Emerging market ETFs such as iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ex China ETF (EMXC B+), Avantis Emerging Markets Equity ETF (AVEM ), Dimensional Emerging Core Equity Market ETF (DFAE A-), and iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (EEM A-) were buy on the dip contenders amid a strengthening US dollar, fading hopes for Federal Reserve interest rate cuts, and rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Check out our Emerging Market Equities ETFs’ list here
  • Many bond ETFs such as iShares National Muni Bond ETF (MUB A+), Vanguard Tax-Exempt Bond ETF (VTEB ), iShares 0-5 Year TIPS Bond ETF (STIP A), and iShares Long-Term National Muni Bond ETF (LMUB ) were present on the buy on the dip list. Bond ETFs fell last month due to investors scaling back bets on Federal Reserve rate cuts, fueled by fears that persistent inflation and ongoing geopolitical tensions would keep interest rates higher for longer. Rising yields, driven by this uncertainty and inflationary pressure, caused bond prices to drop.
